Bottle. Pours clear amber with a big pufy, one-finger biege head. Smells fruity, a bit of apple, citrus, and also of pine. Crisp, medium body. Well-balanced flavor, light fruity taste, with a nice bitter cascate hop finish. Very drinkable. dm9831 (706), Monee, USA Nov 17, 2008 copper body, slight white head, some lacing. musty air mostly. watery, ’’skinny’’ flavor. watery mouth feel, dry finish. a shockingly bland beer. the owner of the ’liquor depot’ in monee gave me a bottle for free. thanks to him. Beardface (259), Eugene, Oregon, USA Oct 28, 2008 This beer smells like day old garbage and doesn’t taste a whole hell of a lot better. Why does New Belgium sell so much beer? DuffMan (2139), Calgary, Alberta, Canada Oct 28, 2008 On tap at the Falling Rock in Denver (post GABF 2008). Bright clear amber gold.
