Tap @ PIB / Pours a milky orange with a sm white head. Aroma is orange, spice, and clove. Flavor was belgiany sweet with clove, and floral hop. The two styles didn’t mesh well, seemed to fight each other. Mouth feel was too thick and sticky.

Wonderful fresh hop nose. Orange and seriously hazy with a nice white head. Light and a bit orangey flavor with excellent hop finish. Notes: On tap at the Pints for Prostates/Denver Rare Beer Tasting at Wynkoop Brewing Co, 2009 Great American Beer Fest

Draft sample at The Denver Rare Beer Tasting event during GABF week on 9/25/09. big hops on nose... pours a deep orange with a white head... medium body... some Belgian yeast, citrus, peach and other light fruit make this Belgian IPA a pleasure to drink.... nice bitter finish.

the belgian portion of this beer overwhelmed the hoppy half. could have used more hops and malt.

Pours a deep orange, hazy. Nose is floral hops, pineapple and citrus mixed with sweet fruits and malt. Flavor is belgian yeast and citrus hops. Clove, banana, sweet malts. I am not a fan of the Belgian IPA for the most part, but this one was nicely done.

Tan with a firm head. Piquant nose, zesty, lemongrass, mint leaves, with Belgian Summer and Grains of Paradise on the finish. A wonderful, symphonic bouquet. Intense black peppercorn and grains of paradise flavor dominates the monotonic experience. Warming, peppery Grains of Paradise endure on the palate.
