Draft at Elysian’s Tangletown location. A sour-lager blend, very divisive. Very weird. Overall a bit watery with sticky sour finish. Taste is ok up front, but weak, and ends with dark sour lager mess. Odd, bad.

Tap @ Green Dragon... Poured reddish with a white head. Sour nose. Very malt based with cracker-like bread qualities and berry fruits. Dry, sour tanginess in the short finish.

Sweet cherries in the aroma. Very red in color. This makes me think of oud bruins. Quite a bit of cherry, fairly sour altogether great I thought. Though a bit thin in the finish.

Tap at the Blind Tiger during NYC Craft Beer Week. Tasting this, it is very obviously a blend, which is really not a good thing. The full, malty base of the dark lager and the vinegary sourness from the NB beer are completely distinct and unintegrated. Sweet and sour, nutty, with a thin body. Could use some work, perhaps a third beer that would meld the flavors better.

Draft. Pours a mahogany body with an off white head. A tart dry balsamic note with a malty and grainy body. Light sour cherry balsamic note, then just a dry and very grainy finish.
