Commercial Description:
Trippel Belgian Style Ale, perhaps the most intriguing of New Belgium's beers, has alluring golden color that only hints at this beer's depth. European Saaz hops and an authentic Belgian yeast strain produce an earthy floral bouquet, citrus bite and woody overtones, all of which are balanced with silky malt flavors.

The bottle poured with care, clear rich and golden with bright white effervescence. The aroma is sweet Belgian yeast delicately spiced and tamed, like honeysuckle. The flavor is balanced with bitterness, not quite full body and the florals impacting the overall olfactory. A delicious taste of a Belgian.

Gold pour with a small white head. Aroma is pears, spice, and grain. Similar flavors, lots of green apple and some caramel. I can pick out the booze in the finish, which is weird considering the ABV.

Bottle - poured into Stella Artois glass (I buy the beer, I make the rules). I usually use a shaker glass, but I enjoy beer out of the Stella on occasion. Heady, very nice with 1 1/2 " head. Medium amber color. Pleasing smell, very noticeable fruit/spice flavors. Let sit for a few minutes until head down to less than 1/4", also to let warm to mid 40-degrees. Taste - definite hint of spice, floral notes abound. Enjoyable and worth the price! I’d buy another 6-pack or would gladly try on tap.

12 oz pours golden straw, and in fact, the straw follows in the flavor, along with faint citrus, mineral and spice. Body is smack between a wit and golden ale. Nice dry mineral finish.
