Orange skins, aluminum, caramelized blood oranges, orange toffee bark and balsamic mandarins give basted, aromatic citric indices. Flavor keeps with a talc and toffee current amidst the orange graham cracker and marshmallow like sweetness. Casual carbonation treats with the rutabaga and orange rind sequence. Balsam and orange butter cream bring it home with a honeyed graham backbone.

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Dec 5, 2009 12 oz can. Pours a real pretty peach/orange color with a creamy off white cap. The head slowly recedes leaving rings of lace behind. Aroma is citrus hop with a touch of caramel malt. Fairly heavy bodied, chewy, but smooth. Taste is a well balanced mix of citrus hop, caramel malt, with a bit of earthiness. Not a " hit you in the head with hops" type of IPA. Bitter finish. drfabulous (1268), Columbia, Missouri, USA

Pours a beautiful, clear copper with an off-white froth. Aromas of caramel and floral malt. Medium body with mild carbonation. Flavor is lightly roasted caramel with a balance of floral hops. A rather florally mild ale. Very drinkable. mikey (336), farmington, Utah, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 30, 2009 Poured from a 12oz can a hazy, peach-orange color with a creamy, off white head that leaves a ton of sticky lace in the glass. The nose is huge with pine and citrus. caramel and a pinch of toasted malt lurk beneath. The taste starts with citrus, pine, caramel, and some metallic notes. The end is full of pineapple, mango, vanilla, dry toasted malt. Moderate to full mouthfeel. Juicy and creamy and then quickly becomes dry, prickly, and spicy. Very nice. Perhaps a little unbalanced towards the hoppy side. That’s why it works so well. bconley (351), Fern Park, Florida, USA

Clear orangish amber with a two-finger, tan, rocky head with okay retention. Not much lacing. Lots of freshly-ground black peppercorn, white pepper, tons of dirt/earthiness/grass. Spiciness throughout. Creamy palate. Per the infamous Beer Talk thread, I think this one was past its born-on date. Believe me, I can tell the difference. Nose of butter, cardboard, sweet malts, very faint grapefruit rind. Flavor is heavy on the malts, a little more butter, some citrus, and earthy notes as well. Maybe this can was a little older than the previous experiences. Thanks to riversideAK for the can. ALCOHOLNIZM (65), WARWICK, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Sep 8, 2009 THIS CLOUDY ORANGE BEER HAS A TON OF FLUFFY CREAMY HEAD MUCH MORE THAN AN AVERAGE IPA..AROMA IS NOT OVERPOWERING BUT QUITE A UNIQUE FEMENTED FRUITINESS.. MILD FLAVORING OF HOPS NOT MUCH BITTERNESS, CITRUS OR SWEETNESS MORE HEAVY ON THE PINE THAN ANYTHING ELSE. THIS BEER WOULD TASTE GREAT ON A HIKE WITH A GRANOLA BAR..ONLY I DONT HIKE . OR EAT GRANOLA BARS..STILL A TOP 10 CANNED BEER (ONLY CAUSE MOST GOOD BEERS DONT COME IN CANS)
