Fairly pale hazy gold colour. Sweet as hell but at the same time freakishly dry. Takes your breath away with wooden tannin laden dryness when you smell but is full of vanillary sweetness in the mouth. Unusual, interesting and enjoyable.

Aug 9, 2008 From the barrel at GBBF ’08. Hazy gold. Pungent sweet fruity aroma. Very sweet taste, somewhat astringent. Bought this to purge my tastebuds after a succession of rough, tough US beers. Made me cough.

Apr 15, 2006 From the wooden barrel at the Borough Market stall. This ’sweet’ cider is less sweet than many dry ciders. Softly flavoured apple skin character, reserved sweetness, very juicy and full of flavour. Hardly sweet.

Apr 19, 2005 Barrel. I prefer dry ciders, but for a sweet this really did the trick. managed to be sweet, yet juicy and refresing and even a little dry on the finish. Really well balanced.
