Magicdave6 (4092), London, Greater London, England Nov 2, 2008 Bottle from the stall in borough market. Alround rating: very dry, crystalised apple sugar, small plastic note, apple pie notes. Taste is refreshing perhaps a little over carbonated and the plastic character get a bit cheep like at times. but still a nice easy going beast. chriso (4420), London, Greater London, England Apr 29, 2007 From the barrel at Reading Beer Festival, April 2006. I had this as New Forest Farmhouse Blend Cider and it was marked as 7.5% so I’m not entirely convinced this is the same product. The aroma has lot of apple but some funky farmyard notes and a hint of rubber too. Dry and fairly tannic, with a touch of petrol. In contrast to the aroma, there’s not much residual fruit. A pretty decent, middle of the road traditional cider.
Mungo (2474), Southampton, Hampshire, England May 8, 2006 Gravity cask @ Reading Beer Festival 2006. Tasty apple and some solvent im the nose. Slightly acidic but with a balancing sweetness and a fresh chalky finish. harrisoni (5474), Ashford, Kent, England May 1, 2006 Bag in the box at Reading BF 06. Hazy gold. Nice enough cider, good apple, dary, good fleshy apple flavour. I like this, simple apple juice cider. kook (2034), Perth, Western Australia, Australia May 1, 2006 Cask @ Reading 06: Yellow, quite cheesy. Some chunky stilton in there. Nice apples and good funk.
