Commercial Description:
Apple Ale sings with the fresh crisp taste of Wisconsin Apples. Our brewmaster begins with a brown ale base employing Wisconsin farmed wheat and a blend of Cortland, MacIntosh and Jonathan apples. Our apple growing friends squeeze them especially for this brew. Expect this ale to pour a beautiful copper color. The fresh bouquet of Apple will rise to meet you even before the glass touches your lips.

Bottle received from my brother in law as a gift (Thanks Neil!) Pour was clear golden yellow, little carbonation and tart granny smith apple aroma. Flavor was very sweet, almost like the sour apple gum you’d by at the corner store when you were a kid. Overall a decent beer, but I wouldn’t drink more than one in any given night.

Bottle courtesy KingpinIPA. Pours golden with small white head. Smells of cider and apple tart. Taste is apple up front with bready notes throughout. I don’t know now else to categorize this other than a great combination of cider and beer. tasty.

Courtesy of pfoxyjohn. Pours a clear copper color with a thinish white head. Lively carbonation. Very soft on the palate with tart apples and just the right amount of sweet malt to prevent it from feeling like a cider. Very well-rounded, crisp and refreshing. A tasty fruit beer, my wife loved it too, we ended up sharing this one. Thanks pfoxyjohn!"

12oz bottle. Pours a nice copper color with some white head that lingers around the edge of my glass in a thin ring. Nose is pure apple juice. Taste isn’t overly deep or dense, but is pure apple with some hints of wheat. Very enjoyable, easy drinking and refreshing.

A very apple juice aroma. This is extremely heavy on the apple flavor. Almost more so than most ciders. Okay for a fruity beer, not great.

Once again, bottle courtesy of Juart. Pours amber golden with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma is a tart malty apple juice. A little sweetness in the taste, but really has a lot of apple character. Pretty dry overall. Some tartness carries from the flavor to the taste. Has a lot of tight effervescence. And excellent balance with this beer. Finishes with a decent richness. Not too fruity. Very well done.

Bottle shared by dkachur 01/18/2009. Clear dark golden. Flavor like a Appel Jolly Rancher. Light body and mouthfeel. Fizzy sweet jello like finish.

Bottle via noncaloric, huge thanks. Pours a golden color with a nice sized sparkling white head. Aroma is all frsh apples. Flavor is apples, light caramel, hint of citrus. Palate is light bodied, medium to high carbonation, finished mostly sweet, with some tartness. I just can help but love this.
