| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 2, 2009 Pours deep clear gold with wafer thin white head. Big apple nose of huge sweetness that gets near the sense of maltiness deep in the background. Wow. The taste is much the same with rich deep ripe apple flavors that scream robustness but are very smooth and near refreshing. Just as the initial tidal wave of apple goodness peaks a tingle of carbonation adds a little extra oomph to the experience. Very nice cider. Rciesla (3610), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 2, 2009 New Years bottle. Pours an orange amber body with a thin white lacing. Doesn’t taste like beer it tastes like apple juice. Apple skins, a late harvest cider, malty apple juice. I could have gone for some more tartness to balance out the body. madcow75 (425), Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 30, 2008 Lots of hype surrounding this one in these parts. Bottle, pour is somewhat effervescent, cloudy yellow/goldish, not much of a head. ARoma of apples, mostly like apple cider/juice. Taste is pretty much that too with a little wheat that comes in the finish. Medium to light bodied. Meh, not really my thing. Tastes mostly like apple cider. meisterbrauMHB (53), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA

Excellent blend of apples and beer. Good for special occasions. Enjoyed by all at ours. Another winner from New Glarus. scoobysnak (249), Appleton, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 30, 2008 Another good fruit beer from New Glarus. Definately fruit is there specialty. This beer makes me glad I live in Wisconsin. Great apple taste throughout. Some notes of vanilla and a good tartness that leaves you needing the next sip. nbutler11 (741), Phoenix, Arizona, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 29, 2008 Bottle courtesy of Ed at Heritage Liquors. Pours a welcoming cider color with no discernable head. You can smell the apples from across the room. Tastes like the best apple cider ever, but at 3.8% I felt let down. Put this in a brandy barrel or you might as well put a straw on the side. Otherwise, its gonna get used in a sauce. ajm (924), Los Angeles, California, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 28, 2008 Bottle from Heritage splitsies with nbutler11. Full aroma of Braeburn and Granny Smith apples with hints of vanilla and light spice. Deep golden color. Flavor as above, but I am of the mind that fruit beer is easy to make good with a sub-4 ABV. This maybe would be best as part of a reduction... danielcurtis81 (888), San Diego, California, USA
