| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 19, 2009 Bottle poured clear gold, like apple juice. Aroma of tart apple, faint grain. Taste is very apple, very tart, with some light grain, though very faint. This is easier drinking than several apple juices. Very crisp and refreshing. I haven’t had too many fruit beers, but this one seems to be three parts fruit, one part beer. Overall, very refreshing, tastey brew. mpersinger (183), , California, USA

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Mar 17, 2009 12 oz. bottle courtesy of Petrucci914. Pours a clear apple juice color with the smallest of white films for a head. The aroma is apple, apple, and more apple, sweet and pleasant. The flavor reminds me of when my grandpa would pile all of the grandkids in the hunk of junk and drive us to Rouster’s to sit in front of the fireplace and drink the fresh apple cider. I enjoyed this as much for the flashback as the beer itself. pinkzambia (989), Boise, Idaho, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 17, 2009 Bottle: Yum, yum in my tum. I could drink this for breakfast with my eggs and toast. It has a clear cider look with aromas and flavors of tart green apples. It’s all apple, you almost forget there is alcohol in it. I picture hobbits drinking this a lot. bradlyc77 (226), Sebastopol, California, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 15, 2009 12 oz bottle courtesy of discount liquors (milwaukee, wi). Pours a nice sustained golden hue, transparent, with moderate bubbly white head that dissipates to a film, well carbonated. Laces well, surprisingly. Aromas are a nice apple feel, crisp, good sweetness, with grainy notes. Apple sauce? Yum. Initial is a nice apple sweetness, nothing cloying, with some mellow grainy sweetness. Largely, a mellow apple juice / apple sauce feel. Finishes crisp but sweet, flavorful. Very nice and sessionable. jake65 (1698), Williston, North Dakota, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Mar 15, 2009 Bottle: Bright gold and ciderlike in appearance. No head. Smells like apple juice and tastes like apple juice. Sweet and fruity with some mild carbonation. Barely a hint of cidery type spices in the tail. Uninspiring.
