Commercial Description:
Hearty and satisfying, our Coffee Stout is the ultimate full-bodied brew. Wisconsin water, roasted malts, and imported hops are the natural ingredients we use to brew this bier. Then cold pressed organic coffee from Just Coffee Co-op is infused into the brew. Expect this bier to pour a deep creamy head over an ebony rich body. Notice the powerful malt bouquet balanced by a spectrum of extravagant flavor. Served at room temperature this Wisconsin Coffee Stout is guaranteed to warm even the coldest heart.

Thanks michael for bring this beer back. Pours black with a light tan head. I followed the directions and drank the beer at room temp. Light mouth feel but overall great taste. Low abc. Nice session stout

Guess this one hit the mark with tons of roasted coffee present but not up to par with some of the best of the style. Mahogany pour with chestnut edges and a small latte head that left only a bit of lacing. Folger’s in the nose with hints of caramel and honey. Flavor is also fairly one dimensional. Thinner than I would have preferred.

bottle courtesy of biggcb. pours dark with an off white head, aroma is nice with a good bit of coffee, but too bold. taste is nice and balanced, not too complex, nice showcase while remaining a great session beer. nice carb feeling, smooth full body and a great finish and aftertaste. this is more of a black coffee stout, not a creamy coffee stout, and i like it!

12oz bottle served in an English pint glass. Dark brown pour with a thick head of tan foam that settled very slowly. Chunky lacing. The aroma included cold coffee, rich chocolate, cream, caramel, and some smooth roasted notes. The flavor was quite roasty along with some strong coffee. Mildly bitter. Very flavorful. Medium-bodied, creamy smooth mouthfeel. Lightly carbonated. Big, robust flavor in an easy drinking, moderate ABV beer. Nicely done.

Bottle. Pours almost black with a rich tan head. Nose is roasty malt, lightly spicy coffee, cocoa, candied plums, toffee. Flavor is huge roasty malt along with fruity (cherry?) coffee. Rich toffee comes forward and almost dominates the finish, but it is kept in check by roasty coffee & chocolate.

Beer courtesy of a co worker. Pours black. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, and chocolate. Flavor is slightly sweet, with roasted malt and coffee, but has a little bitterness at the same time. I actually really enjoyed this beer.

A extremely thin stout. Decent taste and aroma just extremely watery. The lightest bodied stout I have ever tried. Sweet roasted coffee with some mild hops. Small quickly dissipated head.

Courtesy of After4ever, thanks Tom! It’s black with a red hue and a huge, creamy head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, coffee and light rubber. The flavor is slightly sweet with notes of roasted malt, coffee and the finish is slightly citrussy/roasted bitter. It’s not very complex, but considering the ABV, it’s quite full-bodied with a lot of flavor.
