12 ounce bottle shared by cdumler. Thanks! Pours a dark chocolate brown color with a medium head. Fair head retention and good lacing. Aroma is coffee, chocolate and buttery notes. Taste is slightly bitter coffee with cocoa and bitter fruit notes. Slightly thin. Very drinkable and quite nice coffee flavour.

Thanks nbutler11 for the bonus! Pours dark allows light around the edges. The head is two fingers thick creamy and light tan. The nose is sweet, toffee, caramel, very much like a dark rich brown ale on the nose, coffee comes in nicely. The flavor tastes exactly like the coffee flavor in coffee ice cream, awesome. Mildly roasty, nice flavor, coffee begins to lend some bitterness, bakers chocolate, toffee. Palate is roasty with a mild bitterness.

bottle courtesy of matsciguy - Thanks! Pours dark with a small amount of tan head. Chocolate and coffee notes in the nose and aroma. Finishes on a sweet note - not the greatest coffee stout but damn good nonetheless.

Deep brown opaque body boasts a tall khaki head and leaves a lot of splotchy lace. Aroma is nutty, chocolate, and has hints of coffee and citrusy hops. Taste features the coffee more prominently, with notes of nuttiness, citrusy hops, and chocolate. Another solid offering from NG.

Pours a pitch black espresso color with very thick tan colored head that just sits. Aroma is largely a mix of espresso and dark chocolate. Very smokey aroma. Flavor is a sweet coffee. It is similar to a rich espresso with sugar mixed in and dark chocolate added for aroma. it is very enjoyable. Body is medium with fair carbonation. All around reliable.

Nice, deep amber color with a creamy off white head. Slightly smokey coffee aroma and taste with a hint of chocolate on the palate and a dry finish.

Rich dark brown pour with a light tan two finger head. Good lacing. Sweet cocoa aroma with a hint of coffee and some dark fruit. The coffee comes through a bit more in the taste and lingers slightly in the finish. Cocoa is still present as is the dark fruit. There is an odd sweetness in the middle of this. From the description I thought the coffee would be much more prominent, it is there but not "deep."
