Commercial Description:
Hearty and satisfying, our Coffee Stout is the ultimate full-bodied brew. Wisconsin water, roasted malts, and imported hops are the natural ingredients we use to brew this bier. Then cold pressed organic coffee from Just Coffee Co-op is infused into the brew. Expect this bier to pour a deep creamy head over an ebony rich body. Notice the powerful malt bouquet balanced by a spectrum of extravagant flavor. Served at room temperature this Wisconsin Coffee Stout is guaranteed to warm even the coldest heart.

12oz via trade. (Thanks tomdecapolis!) THis pours a near black w a beige head. Nose is mocha, honey, vanilla, coffee. THe taste is just like the nose with a nice americano finish. Some subtle noble hops as well. Also a bit of subtle spiciness..very subtle...Body is light/medium. Carbonation is just right. This is a very good sessionable coffee stout. I hate beer for breakfast but this could almost make me reconsider!

12 oz. bottle. Dark brown with thin tan head. Aroma of burnt carmel. Taste is of coffee, oats, sugar, cream. Hey, who needs breakfast? A tad bit thinner body than some of the high gravity stouts makes this beer more paletable. I would buy this again.

12 oz bottle. Deep black with a thin, persistent, tan head. Coffee and chocolate aromas. Very well balanced with lots of roasty coffee flavors. Clean finish. Another great beer from New Glarus.

One of my favorite Stouts ever. Very dark color with coffee undertones that increase towards the finish.

12 oz bottle courtesy of Hopdog. Pours dark walnut-chestnut with a quick to dissipate head. Deep roasty aroma with creamy malty coffee and cream interesting. Fairly light flavor actually with roasty coffee, cream, and grain. A very interesting taste and aroma profile in that the coffee stout also tastes like it has a touch of creamer to it. Creamy carbonated mouth feel. Very enjoyable.

Bottle from the Mother in Law. Roasted coffee grounds for aroma as advertized. Black body with creamy tan head. Body texture has a multiple mix of flavors. Somewhat watery at times but a sweet bitternes along with roasted coffee and some cream at times. Roasted coffee grounds aftertaste on the palate with some mild sweetness lingering.
