| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 3, 2007 bottle. Pours a lighter than expected deep coppery brown in the glass- then a bit darker brown as it has already been poured with a thining beige head and some lace. Aroma is toffee toasted malts, lightly roasted mlas, some coffee and cream, and a bit of wierd oxidizxed sweetness. mild coffee flavors, some cardboras, wet stale malts, roasted barley, chocolate malts, light sweetness. Good mouthfeel and a nice finish. Good stout overall- but the coffee in the name throws it off- I was expecting a stout that was infused with coffee in some respect. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 2, 2007 Found at World Market - pours dark black color with tan head. Light coffee ground aroma with chocolate and light brown sugar. Very light bodied, first sip was a combination of bitter coffee and baker’s chocolate... second and subsequent sips were more mild and enjoyable. TheEpeeist (1488), Swarthmore, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 20, 2007 Bottle from Ryan. Thanks. I dont know if I have ever had a stout from these guys before, but I am always open minded about anything they brew. Pours out a dark black color with a tan head on it. Smell is full of coffee, chocolate, and some grassy hop smells. Taste is sweet and thick. Not too thick, and by no means thin. This is like a coffee alcohol bomb, but a) not in a bad way, and b) not like Peche Mortel or Devil Made Me Do It. Still - very good, very easy to drink. A session stout - if you will.
