Commercial Description:
Hearty and satisfying, our Coffee Stout is the ultimate full-bodied brew. Wisconsin water, roasted malts, and imported hops are the natural ingredients we use to brew this bier. Then cold pressed organic coffee from Just Coffee Co-op is infused into the brew. Expect this bier to pour a deep creamy head over an ebony rich body. Notice the powerful malt bouquet balanced by a spectrum of extravagant flavor. Served at room temperature this Wisconsin Coffee Stout is guaranteed to warm even the coldest heart.

Pours a dark brown cola with a massive foamy brownish beige head. Aroma of toffee, light roasted malts, weak coffee and cream soda. Taste is malty with hints of cola and cream soda, light coffee and barley. Not bad, but nothing special either.

bottle. Pours a lighter than expected deep coppery brown in the glass- then a bit darker brown as it has already been poured with a thining beige head and some lace. Aroma is toffee toasted malts, lightly roasted mlas, some coffee and cream, and a bit of wierd oxidizxed sweetness. mild coffee flavors, some cardboras, wet stale malts, roasted barley, chocolate malts, light sweetness. Good mouthfeel and a nice finish. Good stout overall- but the coffee in the name throws it off- I was expecting a stout that was infused with coffee in some respect.

Found at World Market - pours dark black color with tan head. Light coffee ground aroma with chocolate and light brown sugar. Very light bodied, first sip was a combination of bitter coffee and baker’s chocolate... second and subsequent sips were more mild and enjoyable.

12 oz bottle. Dark cola with a woody tan head. Coffee, faint chocolate and dusty brown sugar. Like black coffee with semi-flat club soda. Light pithy drying. Mild for a stout; closer to a coffee beverage.

This pours a very dark brown with a frothy head. The coffee aroma is nice and the flavor is smooth and creamy.

Chicago Trip. Sunday 14:50+. Black with a thin foam. Strong black coffee aroma. Thin body, soft and foamy. Coffee flavour. A dark roasted coffee stout. Like Guinness without the sourness.

12 ounce bottle. Shaker glass. Pitch black with a tan head. Aroma is roast malt and coffee. The taste is as advertised, roast malt and coffee as well. There are some burnt notes and a slight bitterness. A little thin for a stout.

Bottle from Ryan. Thanks. I dont know if I have ever had a stout from these guys before, but I am always open minded about anything they brew. Pours out a dark black color with a tan head on it. Smell is full of coffee, chocolate, and some grassy hop smells. Taste is sweet and thick. Not too thick, and by no means thin. This is like a coffee alcohol bomb, but a) not in a bad way, and b) not like Peche Mortel or Devil Made Me Do It. Still - very good, very easy to drink. A session stout - if you will.
