Commercial Description:
Hearty and satisfying, our Coffee Stout is the ultimate full-bodied brew. Wisconsin water, roasted malts, and imported hops are the natural ingredients we use to brew this bier. Then cold pressed organic coffee from Just Coffee Co-op is infused into the brew. Expect this bier to pour a deep creamy head over an ebony rich body. Notice the powerful malt bouquet balanced by a spectrum of extravagant flavor. Served at room temperature this Wisconsin Coffee Stout is guaranteed to warm even the coldest heart.

moderate chocolate, coffee is restrained and doesn't come through strongly. light black with lots of red poking through. Light, more like a cofee porter with roasted barley.

dark color with thin head..somewhat milky/lactosey aroma..nice coffee presence in the flavor but lacking in the thick body that it should have..higher carbination than needed..clean though, and on the unsweet side...leaving a dry coffee bean aftertaste and exibiting some roasty qualities.

It's all about the coffee in this one. Pure black pour with minimal head. Bitter hop taste and cocoa finish. I've had better.

solid espresso aroma, slightly transparent brown, sweet with stale coffee flavors, a light body and a dry roasted finish

I love coffee stouts--what a naturally glorious combination. The beer pours a very dark brown-black with a definite red hue to it; clear; little head on my pour. The aroma is very coffee--like grounds of a not especially high quality, with the first percolations of morning. The flavor has a beautiful roasted quality leaping out. Any bitterness is understated. Some chocolate. Not especially complex--just lots of lovely coffee flavor. Thin body, it almost would suit to call this a Coffee Porter. If it was, I think it would come out slightly better in the battle to control expectations. I had a bit of my bottle poured over vanilla ice cream and the result was, of course, heavenly, with shades of a Bailey's Irish Creme flavor and a nice hazlenut mocha coffee flavor. A beer worth drinking.

Almost black color, rich roasted coffee aroma with hints of caramel. Tastes of coffee but is a bit shy on flavor with a sweet coffee after taste.

Nice coffee taste and smell. Very smooth and somewhat creamy. could have been a little less flat. A nice change of pace for me and definately something I will drink again.

the coffee aroma is to the max! the coffee flavor whoops a camel's ass! lacks some complexity and a bit thin, but like..... yeah.
