Commercial Description:
Hearty and satisfying, our Coffee Stout is the ultimate full-bodied brew. Wisconsin water, roasted malts, and imported hops are the natural ingredients we use to brew this bier. Then cold pressed organic coffee from Just Coffee Co-op is infused into the brew. Expect this bier to pour a deep creamy head over an ebony rich body. Notice the powerful malt bouquet balanced by a spectrum of extravagant flavor. Served at room temperature this Wisconsin Coffee Stout is guaranteed to warm even the coldest heart.

Attractive deep brown pour with a thin tan head. Loads of coffee in the nose and flavor with a bit of chocolate. Like cool, smooth, high quality coffee.

Courtesy fantomas23. This one pours a dark chocolate brown almost black in color with a small, foamy tanm head that settles to a thin film. The aroma shows notes of sweet espresso, cream, chocolate, and lots of fresh roasted coffee. The flavor is just as roasty with the coffee dominating and the cream in the background to smooth things out. Really nice coffee flavor in this one. Medium bodied and very smooth on the palate with some roasted chocolate on the finish. I like the balance in this one between the roasty coffee and espresso cream. Solid stout for sure, but not sure why this is considered a sweet stout.

Bottle from noncaloric. Pours a very dark brown with a small off white head. Aroma smells of a nice cup of coffee with cream and sugar in it. And a hint of roasted malt and some dark chocolate. Flavor is sweeter than I expected with some nice coffee and chocolate notes. I enjoyed this very much. Very smooth and drinkable.

12 oz. bottle - Poured dark brown with medium tan head. Aroma - coffee grounds and roasted malt. Flavor - coffee and more coffee Palate - light mouthfeel with below average carbonation. This beer is really bitter like black coffee. Finish is long with astringent bitter finish. Overall - Smelled fairly good and then as I drank the beer had this watered down black coffee taste. It tastes like coffee that was brewed with used grounds. Not a good Stout..YUCK!!!!

12 ounce bottle shared by cdumler. Thanks! Pours a dark chocolate brown color with a medium head. Fair head retention and good lacing. Aroma is coffee, chocolate and buttery notes. Taste is slightly bitter coffee with cocoa and bitter fruit notes. Slightly thin. Very drinkable and quite nice coffee flavour.

Thanks nbutler11 for the bonus! Pours dark allows light around the edges. The head is two fingers thick creamy and light tan. The nose is sweet, toffee, caramel, very much like a dark rich brown ale on the nose, coffee comes in nicely. The flavor tastes exactly like the coffee flavor in coffee ice cream, awesome. Mildly roasty, nice flavor, coffee begins to lend some bitterness, bakers chocolate, toffee. Palate is roasty with a mild bitterness.
