Commercial Description:
Copper Kettle Weiss is designed in the traditional style of a dark wheat beer. Rich malt flavors are accentuated through our complicated decoction mash and finally balanced with select Hallertau hops.

From a 12oz Bottle. Rated Blind, although I must admit I had a pretty good idea of what it was after the first sniff; not too many wheat beers in the blind tasting section. Pours a transparent color of blood oranges with a medium layer of large bubbled, healthy looking, off-white head. Yeasty, but clean phenolic aromas of banana creamsickle, coriander spice, and some sweet orange. I seem to be getting a bit of an interesting Flinstones vitamin aroma, too. Light bodied, well carbonated mouthfeel with big bubbles that burst open on the tongue. More banana flavors, but a bit cleaner and less phenolic than in the nose. Relatively dry palate thats almost borderline watery, but has some pleasant doughy bread characters with more coriander spice. Some darker, crustier breadiness rounds out the final smack. Post rating comments: Dunkelweizen? I pegged it as a witbier before I knew better.

Big thanks to Iowaherkeye for this bottle! Definite wheat malt aroma with some yeast and light spices. Hazy golden brown in color with a decent head. Medium palate with high carbonation. Nutty wheat flavors up front with a tinge of sourness and spices. Interesting.

Pours hazy amber, thick puffy head. Aroma is yeast and cloves. Taste is more yeast, cloves, bananas, hint of spice, finishes with some sourness. My rating is not of much use, this style is not one of my favorites.

Thanks to RagallachMC for the bottle. Hazy orange/amber with a large head. Fair lacing. Aroma of bananas and fruit-flavored candy. Taste bananas, cloves and wheat. Medium to light body. Candy-sweet finish.

12oz bottle acquired in multiple trades. Poured a medium and slightly hazy amber/orange color with a huge sized off white head. Aromas of yeast, bananas, cloves, and wheat. Tastes of wheat, light bananas (fruity), yeast, and a trace of spices. Medium to higher carbonation.

A Decent Dunkelweizen, starts of on a sweet note, then it suddenly turns sour on the tongue! some clove and bubblegum, but its subdued. Decent drinker! Thanks to Duane for this good one!

Amber-rust pour. Nice head. A little wild. Tons of carbonation. Pleasant yeast aroma. Immediate citrus flavors. Caramel overtones followed by a spicy aftertaste. Banana flavor prominent. Nice creamy texture. Great beer!

Bottle from Ty5592, I believe. Cloudy caramel pour. Nose is malty citrus, funk and stale bread. Not the most inviting aroma. Taste is very yeasty, with a metallic aftertaste. Most of the flavor was of doughy bread and a bit of sourness. Different, but not necessarily great. Perhaps this flavor has to grow on you.....I found it drinkable, but not something I would crave very often. Certainly not something to turn your nose up at on a cool spring night.
