Bottle, poured a murky copper color with an extremely thick head. Slightly metallic aromas with hints of clove and banana. Nice flavor, sweet caramel with a balanced spice note. Very quiet bitterness and a bubbly smooth mouthfeel. A sweet finish with a lingering banana/clove flavor. Nice beer.

Pours a murky copper color. Like old plumbing in a dingy basement (minus the green). Thick, foamy head that I almost have to mine my way through to get to the beer. Nose has a hint of citrus tartness behind a rich wheaty backbone. Flavor just explodes on the palate. This beer would rock fresh out of the tap. Lemon and orange sitrus is very much present but hardly over the top. Cloves rise out of it all. And supporting the seet and tart flavors is a wheat base that mellows it all out and provides a full body feel. Even can pick out some slight yeast bread-heartiness.

Just tired this tonight for thefirst time. It’s liquid banaa bread, very tasty. As with some of the other NG brews, it’s aptly named with a nice copper color, very appealing visually. Maybe I’m a bit stuffed up, but I don’t smell much other than cereal and banana and those very mildly. The flavor though is rich for a weiss. It’s a bit over carbonated for my taste, but that is par for the course for most dunkelweizens in my experience.

Cloudy, slightly dark orange color with a moderate fluffy white head. Aroma is a display of banana with some milder candied fruit aromas, maybe some wet tobacco. Nice palate - medium-bodied, but not over-carbonated. There’s a mild sweetness to the taste at first, but then some spice/clove/pepper comes in. The finish is pretty dry, which I wasn’t expecting. Not always a big fan of the weizen beers, but this is one I could see coming back to. Repeatedly. Way underrated.

Thanks to, hummm forget who I got this from, found this in the back of my fridge after food shopping today....Pours out cloudy orange/light copper with a good sized frothy foamy head. Aroma is of spice, fruit and slight yeast. Well carbonated, banana, yeast and some slight spice notes throughout.

Hazy deep golden, orange colour with a fast diasappearing off white head. Sweet malty aroma with a light banana note and hints of yeast. Caramel and banana sweet flavor with a light dry and sweet finish.

Bottle. ( Thanks Marsiblursi ! ) Hazy orange color with a very small foam. Metallic with banana , and herbal notes. High carbonation. Medium to light body with a short acidic finish.

Decent pour, an amber body (a tad light for style) with a huge fizzy head that subsides slowly, leaving a sliding sheet of lacing behind it. The aroma has overly ripe bananas, soft sweet malts, vanilla, and clove. The taste is more straightforward, continuing with the banana, caramel-like malt, clove, and the slightest hint of a citric tartness. Quenching and very drinkable.
