Pours a cloudy copper colored body under a fizzy one inch bright white head that slowly receded to a thin film leaving some light lacing. Aroma is laden with fruity esters of banana and cloves with some yeastiness and clean wheat. A little caramel and toffee and a touch of hops as well. Flavor is of nice soft wheat malt at the base with light hints of chocolate and bready malt. A little toasted malt and lots of yeastiness. Mouthfeel was a little too energetic for my tastes, but the body and texture were spot on. Overall, a pretty nice beer from a brewery that rarely disappoints. Similar in some ways to their Black Wheat. Jabswitch (215), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA

Big fluffy white head that is gone fairly quickly. Sweet caramel apple flavor with some cookie dough and light noble hops. Very carbonated. Farly decent. barleyPops (1081), Quad-Cities, Illinois, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 3, 2007 Duane got a bottle of this from Styles and shared it with me, thanks guys. Medium orange pour with an offwhite head. A lot lighter than most dunkels I’ve had. Fruity, estery aromas, maybe not quite as much fruitiness as a hefeweizen, but theres not much roasted character to this. Still, it has a great light wheat taste along with a lot of fruitiness to it. Lots of carbonation. Good wheat beer. Styles (1653), Lincoln Park, Michigan, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jan 3, 2007 Updated: Nov 1, 2009Bottles from Ughsmash, 1FastSTi, and my brother who brought me a whole case, much of which is gone now. Slightly hazy dark golden orange. Huge rocky head, great lacing. Nice chewy sourdough bread character up front. Hints of banana and citrus, mostly orange and lemon, very faint clove. Flavor again yeasty sourdough bread up front, decent banana, faint vanilla, with hints of orange and other citrus. Silky smooth mouthfeel. Well done and a very easy drink.
