Commercial Description:
Copper Kettle Weiss is designed in the traditional style of a dark wheat beer. Rich malt flavors are accentuated through our complicated decoction mash and finally balanced with select Hallertau hops.

This dunkel pours a medium orange gold color from a 12oz bottle. Medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is orange, caramel and sweet. A medium bodied dunkel. Malts are fruity and sweet. Lots of orange flavors with hints of banana. Nice balance. Good carbonation. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

Draught at the brewery and 12 oz bottle. Slightly hazy orange color with tenacious off white head. Aroma is of light brown sugar, toasted bread, and yeasty bread dough. Tangy and slightly acidic on the tongue with flavors of apple, banana, and dark bread. Good.

Bottled. An unclear orange beer with a fast disappearing orange head - surprisingly fast disappering considering it’s a wheat beer. The aroma is quite sharp with notes of caramel, wheat, plastic, and light notes of alcohol. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of wheat and caramel. The body is quite filling.

It´s hard to find a good Hefeweizen or Dunkelweizen outside of Germany, and this is not one of them. Bottle. Light hazy orange colour with a white head. Sweet floral, wheat and fruit "banana" aroma and taste. Medium body with a sweet finish.

Effervescent pour. Nose is wheaty with some butter. Mouth is spicy with some bubblegum. Hallertau is easily detectable here, and quite pleasant.

Cloudy copper in color. A bit thin. Has hints of toffee along with the usual banana/clove notes common to wheat beers. An enjoyable beer, even though this isn’t my favorite style.

Bottle. A cloudy orange pour with a thick white head. Interesting, most dunkelweizens I’ve had are usually darker in color. Banana esters combined with vanilla, and dark chocolate as well. A good flavor, although the finish is a bit on the light side. But still very well done.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy orange body with a short-lasting bubbly white head. The aroma has bananas, sugar, lemon, and leafy wood. Sweet banana flavour with a lot of breadiness and sugar. Average.
