Commercial Description:
Copper Kettle Weiss is designed in the traditional style of a dark wheat beer. Rich malt flavors are accentuated through our complicated decoction mash and finally balanced with select Hallertau hops.

If you have one a bottle left over, OPEN IT RIGHT NOW, this beer is peaking. Aroma of bananas, wheat, even some caramel. Similar flavor, extremely balanced. Sweet malt, dough, butterscotch, mild spice.. Great beer!

all old people candy in the nose, (cooked butterscotch and clove gum) sweet and enveloping . light but rich mouth feel with some lingering sweet super mild spice. taste is toasted grain and worthers originals background. I wish grandpa always had one in his pocket.

7-3-08 bottle shared with lb4lb thanks to IowaHerkeye (thanks Joey)
Semi clear amber. Smell is sour and funky. Flavor is funky dough that has a strange sweetness here. High carbonation in the body. Overall, not the biggest fan of this one.

Bottle in trade from IowaHerkeye. Thanks!
Pours amber with tons of floaties suspended throughout the beer. Fizzy white head. Smell is bright and off, like the beginning of an infection, perhaps. Otherwise, caramel and some wheat. Taste is oxidized, metallic and caramelly wheat. Overly fizzy body. Not very good.

bottle. poured a little darker than most hefes, not dunkel dark. xcellent head with orange and banana scent, do i smell brown sugar? anyway, this brew comes alive in my mouth, made my taste buds sing. smooth getaway, but not too quick, with a nutty flavor. one of the best weiss beers i have ever tasted!

About a 1 inch thick head of medium sized bubbles. Interesting aroma with some oranges, cauliflower, wheat and corn. Some sweet malts also. Color is a cloudy dark orange. Lively in the mouth with some roasty notes. Sweet malts and some grainy feeling on the palate. More vegetal notes. Finishes sweet malty and a bit dry. I am indifferent to this brew.

Pours with a cloudy, amber body topped by a thick, off-white head with some lacing left behind. The flavor and aroma are subtle with sweet, malty notes and a hint of banana yeast notes. Not much else to it. Light to medium bodied and smooth.

This was lighter than what i expected for a dunkel, but very tastey nonetheless. Pours a hazey, clouded orange body with a pleasent fruity aroma. Well balanced, not overly malty with a smooth crisp sweet finish.
