| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Jun 26, 2007 had my wisconsin friend pick up a six pack of this since it’s summer. it’s completely clear, which is a letdown for a weiss. color is closer to an APA or american wheat. sizeable 1.25" head. aroma has a bit of spoiling banana aroma, but sadly quite a bit of lager yeast too. less than appetizing. actually, looks like there was still a bit of yeast in the bottle, so i won’t lowball the appearance on this bottle alone. flavor is very disappointing, almost bad. extremely carbonated. i get a bit of that chocolate the dunkel description suggests, but not really the maltier, more syrupy flavor i’m used to. Aroma of banana, apple and little sweet maltness. Nice fruity flavour, with hints of wheat. Not much of a traditional German dunkelweizen, but that dosent matter, is very nice after all. badnewsbeers (1026), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 7, 2007 Bottled. Sharp aroma with strong notes of caramel and wheat and something real yeasty/plastic with a hint of banana. Flavor is sharp with the hint of the plastic banana at first taken over by spicy herbs. tkhans (50), Bangor, Wisconsin, USA
