Commercial Description:
Copper Kettle Weiss is designed in the traditional style of a dark wheat beer. Rich malt flavors are accentuated through our complicated decoction mash and finally balanced with select Hallertau hops.

poured into tulip. pours a cloudy golden amber with full fluffy white head. wheaty/yeastie aroma. full bodied palate, sweet yeastie full and wheaty. very good with a great finish to aftertaste that is very crisp. notice yeast on front and midle, finish is refreshingly light. a complexity thruoght that makes this beer one to come back to.. good stuff. thanks to my BA friend thomashardy for this one.

Poured a clear copper color with good head and good retention. Aromas of banana and sweet malts. taste of light malts and some bananas, light hop character. Not very adventurous for Dan Carey, but a very drinkable basic brew.

12 oz. bottle courtesy of Bockyhorsey - Pours a hazy amber color with a two finger thick off white head which faded pretty quick. Very light lacing. Aroma is spice, yeast, esters, and wheat malt. Flavor is light yeast and esters. Was hopping for a little more malt. Light to medium body. Palate is fairly smooth. A nice, easy drinking beer. Thanks Bill and Wendy.

had my wisconsin friend pick up a six pack of this since it’s summer. it’s completely clear, which is a letdown for a weiss. color is closer to an APA or american wheat. sizeable 1.25" head. aroma has a bit of spoiling banana aroma, but sadly quite a bit of lager yeast too. less than appetizing. actually, looks like there was still a bit of yeast in the bottle, so i won’t lowball the appearance on this bottle alone. flavor is very disappointing, almost bad. extremely carbonated. i get a bit of that chocolate the dunkel description suggests, but not really the maltier, more syrupy flavor i’m used to.

12 fl. oz. Bottle. Yeast in the bottom. Cloudy amber colour with a nice dense white head. Aroma of banana, apple and little sweet maltness. Nice fruity flavour, with hints of wheat. Not much of a traditional German dunkelweizen, but that dosent matter, is very nice after all.

Bottled. Sharp aroma with strong notes of caramel and wheat and something real yeasty/plastic with a hint of banana. Flavor is sharp with the hint of the plastic banana at first taken over by spicy herbs.
