Sep 17, 2009 The beer pours cloudy straw color with a 2-finger head. The aroma is spicey with strong coriander and clove presence. The flavor is typical of a hefe with very strong clove presence. Palate is about average for a hefe with a strong carbonation. Overall, a solid but typical hefe, a treat if you like wheat beers.

Sep 16, 2009 Really subpar head for a wheat, only a thin crown. Scent is cinammon, banana, light spice. Taste is quite clovey and fruity but pleasant to drink even if this isn’t my favorite of styles.

Sep 16, 2009 Bottle courtesy of Oslo, Ratebeer tasting under the Bridge 12/9. Hazy orange body, thick off-white head. Nose of clove and banana. Yeast and malt well balanced. Smooth and refreshing.

Sep 14, 2009 bottled taste. cloudy yellow pour with nice fizzy head. aroma of citrus and cloves. unexpectantly, a very rich mouthfull of cloves, cinnamon, and citrus. quite delish.

Sep 10, 2009 Pours a clear golden with white head. Aroma of bread, banana, citrus, malts, spices. Similar taste, hint of bubblegum. Light, crisp, nice lingering citrus finish. A great hefeweizen actually!

Great clean citrusy clove banana aroma makes the sweet flavor even more enjoyable. Amazingly good for the style. And not even a german brewery! Probably the best american hefe I’ve ever had.
