Commercial Description:
If you dream of wheat this brew will get your toes tapping. Since 1995 we have brewed Bavarian style wheat beers exclusively for the same great state that grows and malts our own Wisconsin wheat. In a world full of posers this is a true hefe-weizen naturally 100% bottle fermented and hazy.

Expect this beer to cascade effervescent into your glass. The rich spicy clove and cinnamon notes will greet your nose while sweet fruit and wheat kisses your lips.

Lick the foam from your mouth and admit sometimes you just gotta get up and dance.

Truly the best Hefe’ i’ve ever had. It’s not too much, but not too subtle. I love the scent of cloves and cinnamon. Beautiful straw color and lacing on the glass. By far my favorite brew from New Glarus. It’s a definate must try for any wheat beer fan.

Based on 1.5 bottles and one more to come i think this might be one of the best beers ever. hands down the best German hefe, even over weihenstephaner. uber creamy texture. rich and smooth vanilla, banana, and bubblegum. just totally balanced and delicious. God damn it. Now, i’m just pissed that i’ll probably never be able to have this again and that i missed all their other hefeweizens.

Pours a cloudy light orange color with a rather large head. Aroma of banana, cloves, and light citrus. Nicely carbonated, beautiful sweetness. This is everything that a hefeweizen should be.

Pours a cloudy golden color with a slightly orange hue. Head is soft and pillowy white. Aroma is strong with clove, banana, and hints of cinnamin and ginger. Clove burst onto the tongue with some spice mixed in. Banana brilliantly comes into play in the middle, leaving you with a spicy banana bread finish. Full bodied and highly carbonated; a little less body would be perfect, but this is so close. I’ve been drinking tons of this since it was released, and will continue drinking it until it’s all gone. I hope they continue making this one; it is a masterpiece. Another amazing beer from an amazing brewer. Do not change the recipe!

bottle, thanks JK) Light cloudy orange pour with a large white head. Somewhat spicy aroma with clove with some notes of banana. Flavor is very fruit sweet at first which then shifts to spice and then mellows to a nice wheaty finish. The mouthfeel is very nice on this one, quite thick. Definitely one of the best Hefes I’ve had.
On second try, I got a lot of banana bread in the aroma, and as the beer warmed it became really fruity.

From the bottle, courtesy of Summer Secret Santa 08, pours a hazy light orange with a thick white foamy head. Perfect aroma of bananas and cloves, and a bit of yeasty fresh baked bread. This is a fantastic beer. This is what a hefe should taste like. Smooth and just the right carbonation. Just picture what you think a hefe should taste like after reading all these ratings, and that’s what this is. Thank you, Santa

great hefe pour, cloudy and golden with a huge beige head. Great aroma of banana’s cloves, bubblegum, a touch of lemon, and some cinnamon. Wow, incredible!! The flavor is intense, huge banana and clove esters. Wicked balanced wheat flavour, i love this beer!!

This is my favorite wheat beer. It has so much fruit and spice in the flavor. The higher abv can get you when polishing off a sixer of this but , hey it’s called dancing man right?
