Commercial Description:
This “Nobel-Pilsner” is the creation of our brewmaster. He brought special yeast from Bavaria, combined it with Wisconsin barley and the finest Bavarian and American hops. Then employing traditional brewing methods, this Pilsner is finished with a long cold rest in our cellars. Expect this bier to be creamy and full-bodied with a smooth finish.

Pours a light amber - nice coloration with a white head that fades quickly. Hoppy aroma, but not overpowering. Decent taste with a bit of sweetness at the end... tastes similar to a lighter spotted cow. Worth the purchase.

Thin head but beautiful golden color. Clear hops scent. A little sweet with the aftertaste, pleasant. Good body for the style. One of my favorite lighter brews.

bottle, poured quickly, lots of carbonation, lasting head, lots of honey, short finish. Great pilsener with no hint of skunk unlike green-bottled pilseners.

I had previously had the spotted cow and loved it. This poured a dark blonde with a medium white head. It had a very clean taste and a nice finish. I really enjoyed this beer. If I were rich I would buy a summer home in New Glarus, Wisconsin so I could try all of their brews.

12oz bottle acquired in trade with ughsmash (thanks!). Poured a medium amber color with a smaller sized head. Aromas of lemons, wheat, and light grass. Wheaty/grainy tasting with lemon. Refreshing and easy to drink

12 oz bottle via trade w/ 1FastSTi. Pours a clear golden yellow with a small fizzy white head. Clean nobel hop aroma with some lightly bready malt. Flavor is very clean, soft hop bitterness against a light and crisp malt backdrop. Nice soft Germal hop flavor. Medium bodied with soft carbonation yields a pleasing creamy mouthfeel. A nice true-to-style Pils, very clean and easy drinking.

Thin effervescent dark golden pour, with a thin white head. Dusty malt and metallic hop aroma. Suprisingly sugary clean malt, with background notes of grain and wheat. Malt is sweet, even and clean. A touch of sourness and some lemon flavor and a bit of balance from the gentle hops. Not really all that impressive, fairly typical. Palate is a touch watery and a good bit sweet and clingy.
