Commercial Description:
This “Nobel-Pilsner” is the creation of our brewmaster. He brought special yeast from Bavaria, combined it with Wisconsin barley and the finest Bavarian and American hops. Then employing traditional brewing methods, this Pilsner is finished with a long cold rest in our cellars. Expect this bier to be creamy and full-bodied with a smooth finish.

A light amber color. White, quickly diminishing head. Indistinguishable aroma. Unremarkable flavor. Disappointment.

Bottle. A light golden color with a laced white head. An assertive yeast and barley aroma. A medium body with a grainy malt finish and noticeable hops in the flavor.

On tap at the New Glarus Hotel Restaurant. Glass appeared with a nice golden hue and a creamy looking head and good lace. The aroma was of floral hop. The flavor was nice and malty with a good hop balance; however, there were some off flavors (need to clean the lines?). The palate was nice and rich. Overall, this was pretty good.

I'm not much of a Pilsner expert but I sure like what I tried here. The beers pours a nice medium gold with a fine head. The palate was "meatier" than I expected. Plenty of malty "heft" and some nice followup from the hops. Quite nice!

Wow what a nice beer. This has a beautiful aroma. I think it smells better than it tastes even though it tastes really good. This is a definate keeper. I could drink a lot of this stuff. Very sweet and grainy. MMMMMMM.........Beer

Medium to dark golden color, fading head. Aroma is muted, but grainy and sweet. Focus here is malts more than hops. A bit of that green veggie flavor going on in the finish. Thanks wawood!
