Commercial Description:
This “Nobel-Pilsner” is the creation of our brewmaster. He brought special yeast from Bavaria, combined it with Wisconsin barley and the finest Bavarian and American hops. Then employing traditional brewing methods, this Pilsner is finished with a long cold rest in our cellars. Expect this bier to be creamy and full-bodied with a smooth finish.

From bottle...golden pour with a thin whitish head. Aroma is mostly sweet and grainy with some hop notes mixed in. Flavor is light sweet malt, yeast and some lemon accents mixed in...not complex, but very clean and well done. Very refreshing on the palate, this is a nice session beer from NG. Revised 7/11/09 - Think I rated this a bit low the first time I went through...very clean for a pilsner style...notch it up a couple points...

Single from Three Cellars Milwaukee. A note to the Forums This beer is why we try brewers and styles we are not impressed with. I have yet to be impressed by New Glarus beers. But this is the first one I have had that I wanted a second bottle of …or third. Nice lite, crisp and refreshing. Dry with good carbonation.

A good crisp flavor that finishes clean. Tastes of light wheat and maybe some fruit notes as it finishes. Very enjoyable.

Clear golden with a frothy head - faint aroma of pils malt and light european hops - lightly sweet and grainy, with mild grassy hops - watery - not one of their best.

12oz bottle thanks to Monger. Pours a clear, golden amber with a white head. The nose was grassy hops and slightly spicy. taste was sweet with grassiness and slight lemon. Mouthfeeel was dry with carbonation. Was a good pils. Perfect for a hot day.
