| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Oct 3, 2001 Given the brewer’s predilection for fruit beers, it’s no surprise that the appearance of this excellent beer is reminiscent of cider, a beautiful clear amber with just a hint of red. Creamy head that falls a bit too quickly; flavor mellow, creamy, hoppy and just a bit citrusy all at once; not a bold masterpiece, but a subtle, sublime example of the brewmaster’s art for the discerning taster. Finish lingers and lingers with a hint of apple and lemon amidst the hoppiness. Aroma probably better than my score; when I drink this unencumbered by a cold, it will really be a treat! legion242 (1587), Richardson, Texas, USA

Edel-Pils isn't as sweet as Norski but its also very good. A tad bit more bitter but not much. Very Drinkable. Could have parleyed this trip getting Belgium Red too but a waivered. Wish I hadn't. ryan (1781), Beltsville, Maryland, USA

The nose is floral and herbal hops, some dough and light citrus. The flavor is lightly sweet, cracker malts, fresh floral hops, hay, light lemon, and just a touch of honey. Medium body is round with moderate carbonation. Yum. badbeer (433), Iowa, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 3/5 | 18/20 | Dec 23, 2007 Beer pours a light golden color with a quarter inch of head with a ring of lacing that lasts throughout. Hints of flowers in the aroma. Taste is slightly sweet at beginning with a hoppy finish. Mouthfeel is nice and full. Very drinkable brew, definately a pilsner that I will be frequenting when the opportunity arises. Let this beer warm a little, not room temperature, but it gets better when it’s not ice cold. | 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jan 7, 2002 A great amber color and a creamy head. (The head dropped quickly, which is the only reason I gave a 4 instead of a 5 in that area.) It had a full, almost sweet flavor, and a clean and herbal finish. A great beer!
