May 16, 2008 Pours brown, and has a nice earthy aroma. Taste is caramel, nuts, dark fruits, and roasted malt. The mouthfeel is pretty good, well carbonated and easy to drink. This is one of the best brown ales out there.

May 11, 2008 This is nice a brew for the fall when the squirrels are running around gathering nuts. Pours a dark brown colour with a full tan nutty top. A creamy and very pleasent mouthfeel, the flavors are incredibly tastey. Caramel, nuts and fignewtons. Finish is sweet and soft.

May 10, 2008 golden brown color, minimal almond-colored head. standard nutty malts with hints of chocolate. Flavor is slightly toasted with hints of chocolate and is moderately nutty. very nutty finish. not bad.

May 1, 2008 Bottle thanks to CMUBEERMAN. Pours hazy orange cider, white head. Aroma is malt, hops, citrus. Flavor is the same, nutty, grainy, earthy. This is refreshing and crisp and not sluggishly malty.

Apr 24, 2008 On tap. Pours a clear prown with a beige diminishing head. Sweet with a bit of bitterness. Aromas of caramel and toasted malts. Also a bit of aroma hops, and nutty toffee. Medium to light bodied. Medium carbonation. Sweet and bitter finish.
