Commercial Description:
Embrace a classic! Hometown Blonde is an old world style pilsner, assertively hopped with four premium hop varieties. Tettninger, Saaz, Styrian Golding and Strisselspalt varieties all grace this German-style brew with the complex character you enjoy in a classic pilsner. Expect to pour an elegant blonde glass of beer, crowned with a rich head of foam that resonates with our chorus of hops. Although delicate in appearance, our Hometown Blonde has a backbone, but of course that’s no surprise in Wisconsin. Enjoy!

Pours yellow with a white head. Smells of dry malt, noble hops (spicy, sage, earth). Tastes initially sweet with a nicely balanced hoppiness on the finish.

Bottle thanks to Skyview. Lightly hazy yellow-orange with a smooth white head, very herbal spicy hop note some earthy sweet hay malts in the aroma. Taste is peppery malty, too much like a Helles, warm hay, grassy hops, not that refreshing.

12oz bottle, brought in by some folks, taste is surprising for a pilsener with some age on it, still bright and bubbly with big white head.. malty and crisp, not bad at all. good change from Oktoberfests.

Hazy apricot with a minimal head, decent hazing. Crisp and refreshing beer. Grassy hops, light malt, dry finish. Pretty well balanced brew.

pours a bright golden colour with a foamy white head. Lacing that is left behind is scattered. Aroma carries peach, apricot and pineapple notes. Taste is clean and refreshing. Flavors of grass, honey and hops.

12oz bottle. Clear yellow color. Aroma of spicy, grassy hops. Flavor is of light malt, quickly followed by big hop bitterness. Lots of hops is what we like. Overall this beer has a great Pilsner character with a nice Saaz spiciness.
