Commercial Description:
Embrace a classic! Hometown Blonde is an old world style pilsner, assertively hopped with four premium hop varieties. Tettninger, Saaz, Styrian Golding and Strisselspalt varieties all grace this German-style brew with the complex character you enjoy in a classic pilsner. Expect to pour an elegant blonde glass of beer, crowned with a rich head of foam that resonates with our chorus of hops. Although delicate in appearance, our Hometown Blonde has a backbone, but of course that’s no surprise in Wisconsin. Enjoy!

Yellow/gold, with a white head. Aroma is grass, hops, and grain. Flavor is hops, malt, and grain. A bit heavier than expected. A solid, nice drinking brew. Thanks to hellomynameis for this bottle.

Bottle. Lots of pilsener malt and euro hops on the nose with bright noses of grass and hay. Pours golden copper with a bright white head. Fairly crisp on the palate. Slightly sour. Decently hopped. Hint of honey. Malty backbone. Medium body with average carbonation. Fairly rich and creamy pils.

A classic pilsner that shows nice light notes of hops that follw into a crisp and balanced malt flavor on the finish.

Pours a clear light golden color with a medium white head. Classic pilsner aroma with grassy notes. Taste is slightly bitter with a grassy backbone and hints of lemon and apple. Very nice for this style.

Sampled at the RBSG 07 Grand Tasting. Nondescript grainy nose on this beer. Light gold color with minimal head. Not bad for a pilsner.

12oz via trade with Robertsreatlity. Thanks for the Bonus Rob. Pours golden with a fading but semi stable fluffy white head. Nose is sweet and light and typical for a lager. Taste is slightly hoppy with a nice malt background. Lagerish but nice. This is an easy drinking session brew.

Thanks to buckybeer for the bottle. Clear golden with a medium to large head. Fair lacing. Aroma was sweet malt with some grassy and floral hops. Fruity sweet taste, reminiscent of apple with a bit of hop spice. Just a hint of a bitter finish. A bit sweet is the only complaint. But a good Summer refresher.

12oz bottle acquired in trade with Brigadier (thanks!). Poured a medium golden color with an averaged sized white head. Aromas of grass, grains, and a trace of citrus. Tastes of grains, and light grass. Starts of lightly sweet and ends in a grassy bitterness.
