Aroma was seriously grassy. Flavor was strong grassy hops, some sweet pilsner malt, lots of carbonation to make this a solid brew. Thanks to eaglefan538 for sharing. | 4.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 10/10 | 4/5 | 20/20 | Mar 25, 2008 pours an apricot color with a decent head that slowly recedes to a fine lace. Aromas of aged citrus malts. Full nectar with brilliant carbonation producing a cotton fiber texture. Brisk and very flavorful with apricot and peaches showing forward on a thick malt body with a strict hopsy bittering component to balance. Other nuances of barnyard hay, leather, and aged citrus. The finish is bittered executively as I thirst for more. This brew is very tasty and rich leaning more on the Czec side. This might be my new favorite session brew. Clear bubbly yellow. Smells malty and quite doughy. Sweet yeast flavor that actually tastes quite like sourdough bread. Not a style that I usually prefer - but this is definitely one of the better pilseners that I have had. DrnkMcDermott (1865), Downers Grove, Illinois, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 2, 2008 12 oz. bottle. Wafts a nice lager smell after sitting in a glass for a while. Color hits burnished gold of an actual pils, which is always refreshing to see, with a scrum of clotted foam across the top. Drink is hearty with lightly toasted malts, no graininess. After some unsure whiffs in the nose, I find no off-tastes or adjuncts. Tends to a bit of ale fruitiness. Also the nice sharp tang of German noble hops sets in nicely. A darn good American pilsener that I may have liked even better if I had popped this bottle when I bought it in November… darn these beer hunting trips. lb4lb (2011), Austin, Texas, USA

Pours rich golden into a pilsner glass with a nice bubbly and foamy white head giving good lacing. Smell is nice light malt, a bit lemony, tangy yeast and nice fresh breadiness. Taste is a touch thin, but nicely crisp, a hint lemony and very refreshing with a nice neutral bitterness. Easy to drink with no off flavors and a uniqueness to it. Simple but nice. | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Feb 20, 2008 Smells friuty and the head on this tap beer is very frothy. Tastes very bold and the hops are nice. The friutness adds to the complexity of this beer. Had at the Hoover Ave Ale House.
