Commercial Description:
Embrace a classic! Hometown Blonde is an old world style pilsner, assertively hopped with four premium hop varieties. Tettninger, Saaz, Styrian Golding and Strisselspalt varieties all grace this German-style brew with the complex character you enjoy in a classic pilsner. Expect to pour an elegant blonde glass of beer, crowned with a rich head of foam that resonates with our chorus of hops. Although delicate in appearance, our Hometown Blonde has a backbone, but of course that’s no surprise in Wisconsin. Enjoy!

Thanks Ben! Had this one bottled at the lodge at Dixon Lake Resort, Squaw Lake, Minnesota. Cloudy, light orange pour with a thin, bubbly head, piney hoppiness, very drinkable and balanced. Good!

Herbal hop aroma. Pours a transparent straw color with a quickly dissipating bright white head.mouthfeel is medium to thin but very quenching. Very nice clean bitter hop kick in the finish.

Bottle. Surprised at how light and airy the taste was at first with a quite hoppy aroma. Very smooth with a light, almost sweet aftertaste. More flavorful than Spotted Cow, yet lighter.

Bottle. Pour is a light golden color with a crisp thick white head and some nice lacing. Aroma is clearly hoppy, grainy, some toast. Flavor is well hopped some floral and grassy notes with a fair amount of grain and not much sweetness. Palate is medium to light bodied, medium carbonation finishes slightly sweet at first then bitter. A great beer for the sytle. Great beer to ween folks from macro swill.

12 oz bottle. Clear, sparkling gold with a small, oat-colored, puff of head. Doughy nose with lemon. Medium body but full for a pilsener. Begins with some coppery tang then dough, apple and lemon pith. Pleasant bready drying with hints of orange peel.

Bottle… Brilliant, clear yellow lager with a small, soapy, white head and good retention. The subtle aroma is of spicy, peppery hops with whispers of pilsner malt, lemon peel and acetaldehyde. Crisp, acerbic, hop flavor with moderate to medium bitterness. Medium-bodied and oily with lively carbonation. Short, metallic, abrasive finish.

Poured a real blonde with an aroma of flowery hops and some maltiness, maybe butterscotch notes. Taste is full of bitter hops with some clove accents and grass. Left a hoppy, bitter aftertaste, a very good representation of the style.
