stefanberggren (135), Madison, Wisconsin, USA Oct 16, 2007 I have praised Dan and Deb for bringing this back to our open mouths ! The taste is malty with an assertive bitternes (flavor and aroma) not as dry as some dort style lagers, but better balanced. Flavor is perfect and this is what my great grandfather would have loved after pushing the manual lawnmower around. I wish and can hope that they make this a year round beer !!!! PS this is also Dan’s favorite beer to brew (as told by Deb) Cheers !
BuckeyeSammy (354), New York City, New York, USA Jul 14, 2008 Hazy apricot with a minimal head, decent hazing. Crisp and refreshing beer. Grassy hops, light malt, dry finish. Pretty well balanced brew. phishpond417 (1360), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA May 28, 2008 pours a bright golden colour with a foamy white head. Lacing that is left behind is scattered. Aroma carries peach, apricot and pineapple notes. Taste is clean and refreshing. Flavors of grass, honey and hops. unclemattie (1556), Georgia, USA Apr 17, 2008 12oz bottle. Clear yellow color. Aroma of spicy, grassy hops. Flavor is of light malt, quickly followed by big hop bitterness. Lots of hops is what we like. Overall this beer has a great Pilsner character with a nice Saaz spiciness. IlanMan (514), Winona, Minnesota, USA Apr 9, 2008 Nice hazey golden pour with medium white head. Tasted nicely of hops and spices. Smooth and refreshing. Nice balanced brew. May buy again. kp (6200), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Apr 5, 2008 Date: 03/15/2008
