Commercial Description:
This Ale is brewed with the best of Old and New World hops. Then we infuse the aging tanks with a dry hop addition of Cascade and East Kent Goldings to bring home the hops! Expect this Ale to pour a glass brimming with rich caramel flavors along with an intense hop aroma

Bottle: Pours a copper amber with a 1 finger white head. Aroma is slightly malty and floral hops. Flavor is malty upfront with slight fruit esters. Softly carmel creamyness with light bitterness and decent earthy hop flavors. Not nearly hoppy enough for an ipa if you ask me. I wonder if this was an old bottle or something. FLavor was not bad but just way too restrained.

Now this is a good IPA! New Glarus crams a lot of hops into this beer, which doesn’t have much of a head (the only thing keeping it from cracking the 4-point barrier IMHO). Amber in color, hearty, hoppy. aofoxxy is right: IPA aftertaste keeps you from switching, but I think I could drink a lot of this anyway, so why worry?

12 oz bottle. NIce red amber with off-white creamy head. Citrus hop aroma with some green apple, caramel malt, and some cherries, a lot of fruit overall in the nose. Pretty sweet fruit taste with a little pine, some grain, very tasty. Med creamy body. This is a fantastic IPA!

Picked up single 12-oz bottle from Bob McFarland’s Liquor in McFarland, Wisconsin. Pours a semi-haze golden amber brew with a decent off-white head that quickly dissolves to a fine bubbly film and ring. Aroma has a good balance of roasted caramel malt and some grapefruit zest. Taste is medium bodied, light carbonation with flavors of roasted caramel malt, orange peel with a slight peppery spice texture. Finish is smooth, creamy with an orange zest aftertaste. Mild bitterness in the finish too.

Pours brown, cloudy, with a moderate head. Aroma of hops and citrus. Rather spicy. Full mouth feel with a light caramel and passion fruit base with a hoppy character otherwise. Very enjoyable!

12 oz. bottle. Pours a cloudy amber color with a small, diminishing white head. The aroma is caramel and citrus hops. The flavor is a nice combination of caramel malts and citrus hops. The mouthfeel is medium with a smooth, slightly creamy texture going down. This is a pretty nice brew.

12 oz. bottle courtesy of Bockyhorsey - Pours a slightly hazy deep amber color with a one finger thick off white head that lasted. Nice lacing. Aroma is citrus hops and toasted malt. Flavor is sweet malt, citrus hops, and esters. A very smooth, medium body beer. A good IPA. Thanks Bill and Wendy.

POurs deep amber with a medium head. The aromatics of of the hops offer citrus notes. The mouthfeel offers a sweet note of hops and the correct amount of bitterness. The beer drinks full with a nice crisp feeling.
