Crystal clear. Smell is light with hops. Taste is strong, very hoppy. A little more than medium carbonation, not overwhelming though. Duellist17 (34), Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Mar 11, 2007 My staple IPA. A great beer for a reasonable price. Very Hoppy, quite bitter, but a decent finish. I always have room in my beer fridge for this one. tytoanderso (1387), St. Louis Park, Minnesota, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 8, 2007 Bottle. Pours dark orange with minimal white head. Citrus and malt on the nose. Much maltier and sweeter than I’m accustomed to in an IPA. Not too bad, though. Very approachable IPA. BDR (2164), Roseville, Minnesota, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Feb 24, 2007 Grass and faint citrus in the nose. Pale gold pour with a thin white head. Mildly bitter hoppy taste with more grass and citrus. joebrew (608), Farewell Minny; Hello Puyallup, Washington, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Feb 24, 2007 Pours a hazy dirty orange with a nice creamy white head. Noticeable hop presence on the nose, but not overwhelmingly strong. Light citrus with a touch of grassiness. Nice full floral nose with hints sweetness that originates from the light citrus. A nice IPA, from a great brewery. willblake (2180), Belcamp, Maryland, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Feb 18, 2007 12-Aug-06 12oz bottle at Firemoose’s. Dark golden color with thin but sticky white head. Dry, thinner bodied, rustic, dirty. Sparse and pissy stuff without much malt to solidify the body. GaltScat (195), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Feb 15, 2007 Yellow-orange with a foamy white head that vanished quickly. Aroma was of hops, malt, flowers. Flavor was mostly pine, flowers, and malt. There was a taste of sugar throughout and it interfered with enjoying the hops. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Feb 14, 2007 Pretty good. Sweeter than the IPA’s I’m accustomed to, but pretty darn refreshing tasting over all. This is a good gateway IPA to larger stuff. The hops come and go before you can swallow. Finishes super clean. Nice. This is a good day time IPA while you clean out the rain gutters and celebrate a task well done.
