| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 3, 2006 Light orange body and off-white foamy head. Malty and faint hop aroma. Light though creamy mouthfeel. Easy drink, bitterness enwrapped in malt, decent balance. Not too complex. Above average brew, Fairly average for its style and will underperform for the hopheads.. csbosox (1082), Prairie Village, Kansas, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 27, 2006 Sep. BierMeister meeting. Reddish, copper color. Not bottle conditioned. Piney, floral, spicy, citrus aroma. The aroma is really nice. Initial taste is huge malt, brown sugar, caramel followed by mild citrus, floral, and spice. Malt dominated IPA. The hops bitterness mainly just balances it out. Too malt dominated for an American IPA, more like an English IPA with American hops. Nice but New Glarus is usually pretty mild in hops bitterness and flavor. kwoeltje (1326), Manchester, Missouri, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 22, 2006 Bottled and in a pint glass. Mild amber with a thick white head. Seemed kind of dark for an IPA. Hoppy nose and flavor, but not over-powering. Would’ve been better colder than I had. gws57 (1144), Saint Charles, Illinois, USA

Outstanding. kmweaver (2483), Sebastopol, California, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 14, 2006 Updated: Sep 15, 2006Trade courtesy of Monger! Pours a soft, tannish head with large-bubble clusters and slight retention; murky golden-amber appearance underneath. Plenty of hop presence in the nose, predominantly floral, with some light citrus. Bitterness is very well-balanced by the malt presence; plenty of carbonation, pleasant floral hop bitterness that’s engaging without being over-the-top bitter; slightly weaker mouthfeel than one might like. Still, very drinkable and engaging beer. stegosaurus (1882), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA
