Aug 6, 2006 12oz. bottle pours an amber color, with a small head. Notes of lemon, citrus, and hops. Flavors are nicely hopped across the palate with a little carmel, pine and citrus. A very enjoyable IPA.

Aug 3, 2006 Bottle. Pours a nice deep golden orange colr with a small frothy head. Aroma of citrus and hops. Has a nice smooth caramel , fruity taste that finishes with a nice light bitter aftertaste. Nice IPA!

Aug 3, 2006 Pours a dark copper with red highlights. Creamy head with tons of lacing. Nice carmel and citrus hops aroma and flavor. Dry astringent aftertaste. Definitely better IPA’s out there, but still a decent brew.

Jul 31, 2006 Bottle, Good pine and citrus aromas. Darker shade of orange for body color with tan head. Citrus hop flavor from start to finish. Cool and crisp and refreshing. Good brew.

Jul 27, 2006 12 oz bottle. Crystal clear topaz with a hilly grey-tan head. Woody grapefruit and brown sugar. Begins dry with subdued carb; slick mouth. Piney orange pith and traces of sour apple. Lemon bread remains. A nice hop hit but not over the top. Nice rustic quality.

Jul 26, 2006 Yum! Pours a great deep copper color with a decent head that left some lacing. Citrusy, piney hop aroma, as well as caramel malts. The flavor is a great mix of an awesome hop profile, along with plenty of malt to balance it out. I wish I could get ahold of this more often than I will be able to, because this stuff is good! A beer that any confessed hop head must try.

Jul 24, 2006 Thanks to hopdog for this one. Pours a slighty hazy darker copper amber with a medium foamy light tan head that sustained and laced. Aroma of pine, caramel, orange, perfume and a light earthiness. Flavor has even more caramel, pine, nice hop bitterness anda chewy hop feel. A really nice malt/hop balance in this one.

Jul 20, 2006 Updated: Jul 29, 2006Pours a beautiful red with a brownish head that dissipates to a nice lacing. Aroma is spicey and flavor is a little sweet (berries almost) with a good bitterness to it and a great aftertaste. I love IPA and I love New Glarus.
