Really nice orange red color with almost no head on it. Aroma is a nice bready citrus smell, some honey and wheat mixed with a strong citrus and floral notes. Flavor is a pretty crisp, right to the point hops, then really cleanly tastes sweet and balanced. Palate is bitter at first, then really viscous and full bodied.

Pours amber with a large white head that stays. Aroma has that sharp fresh aroma that clings to the inside of your nose like you are sniffing a handful of fresh hops, citrusy and earthy. Flavor of fresh citrusy and earthy hops, a slight light fruitiness, and a clean slighty toasty maltiness. The fresh hoppiness is a mixed blessing bringing vibrant hop flavors but also some dry slightly harsh grassiness. Medium body. Perfect balance until the finish and then a rising bitterness in the aftertaste.

It’s interesting how the different hops seems to come in waves in this brew. After the pour, the air is filled with the aroma of northwestern hops, pine and light grapefruit and orange blossom. The flavor is well-balanced between the hop bitterness and the sweet caramel malts, similarly to an APA, but more intense on both sides. Here there seems to be a blending of the piney, citric hops and more earthy, herbal hops. The latter emerges more fully in the finish with a nice lingering bitterness. All this is enhanced by a handsome copper body and a healthy off-white head. Nice.

The minute you open this one it is screaming with hops. Pours a very clear light orange color with a solid off white head that stays throughout the drink. A lot of hop flavor up front with a very balanced back end heavy in malt and hop bitterness. Not very heavy but more refreshing with a lot of flavor and bitterness in one. This is what IPA’s should be modelled after.

Lovely citruse, piney hop aroma. I will preface this by saying I’m not a big IPA fan. The sweet caramel malt is there, but I feel it is overwhelmed by the hops. Citrusey, piney bitterness. Finish is dry & crisp.

12 oz bottle from Ughsmash. Definite grassy hops in the aroma, along with a malty sweetness and I detect a bit o’ honey along with grapefruit sourness (sour in a good way). Did I mention that it’s a beautiful IPA to look at? Good head on a dark amber body. The flavor was surprisingly thin. Rather watery. What is there is some bitter and dry hops and sweetness from caramel. It goes down smooth and bitter all at the same time. It’s a good one after mowing the lawn. Thanks again, Jason!

Thanks to JPDIPSO for sending this. Clear copper body with a thin white head. Aroma of resinous hops and malt. Flavor of resinous hops and malt with a bitter finish. Medium to full body with a slick, creamy texture and moderate carbonation.

12 oz. bottle, thanks duane. Poured a dark amber with a fizzy off white head. Nose was caramel hops, like grass and earth. Taste was caramel with a deeper earthy hop accent. Bitter and sour to end.
