Pours hazy red-brown with a medium light tan head. Roasted chocolatey aroma with grassy hops. The body is rather unusual, very light-flavored for such a dark beer with plum and a hint of chocolate. Very creamy, slightly chalky mouthfeel. Thanks Jason (JCapriotti) for the beer!

Pours a dirty looking light brown color with a fizzy off-white head. Roasted fruity malts in the aroma, but its light. Sort of a light plummy nutty taste. Its got good body, but its a bit too fizzy on the tongue.

This beer pours with a cloudy, deep amber body topped by a thick head with good lacing. The aroma is sweet and fruity with candy sugar notes and a ton of malt. The flavor is sweet and full of candy sugar with slight notes of fruit and a very slight bitterness. Medium bodied and smooth.

Dark as could be yet still brite. Some roastiness in the aroma. Just a hint of black patent malt in the flavor. Low bitterness and well balanced for a very dinkable dark beer.

Bottle pours deep brown with caramel hues, nice frothy off-white head, with decent lacing.   Malty and bready on the nose.   Nutty, malty, and bready on the tongue.   Slightly toasted malt flavor through the middle.   Malty finish.   Not bad, but nothing fantastic.   Thanks goes out to captaincougar for the trade!

12 oz bottle: thick, gooey tan foam that falls into pits and creates dark brown shadowy holes . . . seasoned pizza dough aroma with some spicy pepperonis, honey drenched hazelnuts and dark piney hops. Earthy flavours that stick to the sides of the mouth. Tingly carbonation opens up a full spicy fruit palate that warms and sooths. A special, intriguing and tasty treat.

Cloudy dark with a thin long lasting ring of white head. The nose is earthy and somewhat malty nose. The taste is very full of barley and grass. Not all that bad, kind of strong in the earth. Drinkable tho.

Dark color, small head, malty aroma. A slighly minerally palate. Roasty aftertaste. This beer is thinner than I expected - too thin for my taste. Not much personality in this one.
