Sour fruit aroma. Golden coloured floral and hoppy with a little bitterness in a sour finish. fonefan (11001), VestJylland, Denmark Nov 19, 2009 Bottle 50cl. @ LCRBM09 - Low Countries RateBeer Meeting V, Kulminator, Antwerpen, Belgium. Clear medium orange color with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, brett. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20090905] MoDog (914), Griffith, Indiana, USA Nov 18, 2009 500ml bottle served in a tulip. Hazy, golden orange pour with a two-finger thick head of tight beige foam that hung around for a bit. Light lace. The aroma had bright notes of lemon, pineapple, along with some honey, light caramel, and some faintly cheesy hops. Lots of fruity brett, but not too funky. The flavor had lemon and orange zest, pineapple, tropical fruits, and bready pale malt. Medium-bodied with a light amount of crisp carbonation. Dry finish. A good beer, but I was mildly disappointed after seeing the early ratings. GMCC2181 (855), Bear/Elkton, Delaware, USA Nov 17, 2009 Bottle.. Light orange in color with a good head. Kind of a funky aroma, flowers, corriander, ginger and some spices. Taste is a slight tartness, some flower but not perfume, ginger, and spices. Very enjoyable and unique, taste wise. Texture is light, fluffy and dry. Overall, nice beer from new glarus. Thanks lithy for sending this one my way douglas88 (1573), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA Nov 12, 2009 500 ml bottle shared by footbalm, what a cool label. Pours a bright apricot color with a medium white head. A funky Brett nose, some light malts and yeast. The flavor is nice; funk, sweet malts, citrus, dry and floral. Pretty nice. Loads of Brett here. Funky citrus. tjthresh (1763), Greenfield, Indiana, USA Nov 11, 2009 Bottle picked up at New Glarus. Pour is dull rusty orange with a dull white head. Pungant, blunt nose of plenty of brett and brash hops. I get some background brett tartness and light hops, but overall its sort of bland? I like it. It would work really well in the deep summer. I just was expecting something much more bold. Medium body and high carbonation. Dry finish. Yeah, nothing bad, nothing mind blowing. blklab2007 (951), Connecticut, USA Nov 10, 2009 bottle from summer secret santa poured a golden color with nice streaming carbonation and a thin white head. aroma has surprisingly fruity citrus hops, nice brett hit, grass, and some light funk. really nice twist of flavors in the nose. mouth feel is crisp. flavor has some malt holding it together, flowers, nice sweet fruit, and again the juicy citrus blast at the finish. this one dries out nicely and is super easy and refreshing. Cletus (5044), Connecticut, USA Nov 7, 2009 Pours amber/gold and clear with a lasting, but thin white head. Smells of perfume, grainy, spiced mat, earthy, some grassy hints, hay, funky. Tastes of dry malt, peppery, funky, floral, sweet fresh oranges, dry crisp finish.
