Commercial Description:
The voluminous raspberry bouquet will greet you long before your lips touch your glass. Serve this Wisconsin framboise very cold in a champagne flute. Then hold your glass to a light and enjoy the jewel-like sparkle of a very special ale. Oregon proudly shares their harvest of mouth-watering berries, which we ferment spontaneously in large oak vats. Then we employ Wisconsin farmed wheat and year old Hallertau hops to round out this extravaganza of flavor.

Rich, red-brown pour with a reddish foam head. Lovely berry bouquet. The flavor is rich raspberry jam and wine, with hints of cheese, raspberry soda pop, and lemonade. It has a kind of essential flavor that is a little hard to pin down. Well-balanced and goes down easy. It is hard to believe this is a beer at all! Another remarkable creation from New Glarus.

Thanks to fantomas23 for the bottle!
Pours Ruby, fluffy pink head. Nose is all raspberries, rather singular. The flavor is a little more lactic but practically the same, very sweet. Mouth is refreshing but a little creamy in the aftertaste, not as crisp as I’d hoped. Very tasty stuff, but I can’t help wondering that there must be better tasting juice out there.

Back in the day I was a fiend for the raspberry beers, a lot has changed since those days. But one thing has not; this was then and remains to be a favorite of mine. The beer pours a beautiful light purple with a large lasting pink head. Aroma is of fresh raspberries, a faint oak, and yeasty funk. The taste is remarkably tart and slightly sour and dominated by the fruit accented by yeast and very light malt. The beer is well rounded and has a sharp initial mouthfeel. Oh, and this was also served at my wedding too.

Deep purple color, true purple foam head. Great fruit beer, share with a mate. Too sugary, sweet tasting. Its raspberry and tart, period. A rare treat, glad to open with sleepy the night he takes the reigns at Ginger Man.

Bottle thanks to JB175...shared with Swalden_28, and ericsandersnavy. Pours a dark brown with some reddish highlights and a foamy light brown-to slightly pinkish head with some good lacing. Aroma of veery fresh raspberries, some berry brandy, a tart element, some farm, and a bit of smoke towards the very end. Taste is raspberry syrup with some light tartness and a touch of brett. Light mouthfeel, slightly creamy with lively bubbles.
