Taste is much the same, mainly all raspberries, and it really isnt tart like the name would indicate. Very nice aftertaste of raspberries. | 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 29, 2008 Wow. This stuff is stunning. Gorgeous, dark reddish-purple colour with a hint of brown. Rather murky, as though someone had just pureed some raspberries and poured them in. Aroma of fresh rasperries. Taste? Go figure -- raspberries. Like drinking a raspberry cordial, without the cloying sweetness. Tart? Not so much, though there’s a hint of acidity on the finish. But a beautiful beer to look at, to smell, and to savour.
