Commercial Description:
The voluminous raspberry bouquet will greet you long before your lips touch your glass. Serve this Wisconsin framboise very cold in a champagne flute. Then hold your glass to a light and enjoy the jewel-like sparkle of a very special ale. Oregon proudly shares their harvest of mouth-watering berries, which we ferment spontaneously in large oak vats. Then we employ Wisconsin farmed wheat and year old Hallertau hops to round out this extravaganza of flavor.

Definitely a standout in this category. Great balance of sweetness and tartness, giving this beer a very full and intense raspberry flavor. Every time I pour one I want to take a picture of it.

Berry red colored with a think pink head. Strong aroma of raspberries. Tastes, holy tart! Raspberries, sweet start and a semi-sour finish. It’s an excellent beer for what it is, though I’m not sure I’d want to have that much in one sitting.

Thanks go out to Ughsmash for this wonderful brew The bottle poured into my flute glass produced a quickly dissipating purple head. The body was a murky dark burgundy red Aromas of raspberry along with raspberry and did I mention raspberry Flavors of raspberry not overly sweet or tart a nice balance the carbonation was enough to clean the tongue and keep it light and drinkable It is a dessert brew for sure the drinkability should be taken as such .It is a great way to finish of a great meal. If it was in smaller bottles and more available to me I would love to try experimenting with cooking with this brew

Sampled at Hellbilly’s tasting. Thank you Hellbilly! Pours a cloudy red color with a small fizzy pink head. Fresh raspberry aroma with a bit of sourness. Raspberry sweet-tart flavor. A seriously great blast of raspberry goodness in a bottle!

Sampled via Hellbilly’s tasting courtesy of Hellbilly via Bockyhorsey...whew!!! I believe this was my first fruit beer and what an amazing experience it was. Wish I didn’t have to describe it this way but it possessed a beautiful raspberry body with a razor thin rose colored head. Flavor is fresh picked fruit with just enough sourness to feel it in your throat and jaw. A bit of a pucker. Light yet sticky...an incredible beer.

Sampled at the Hellbilly’s Hellraiser Phoenix tasting (4/13/08). Bottle courtesy of Hellbilly. My first fruit beer ever and the first of two on the night. Pours a nice red color with pinkish head. The nose – wow – fresh raspberry blast in the face. Palate combines the taste of sweet ripe raspberries with sour unripe ones for a palate teasing treat. Thick, palate coating mouth feel. Incredible beer.

750 bottle courtesy of Ughsmash. Thanks! Pours a cloudy dark red with a small red head. Thick lacing. Aroma is raspberries in great quantity, nice and tart. I guess the name is appropriate. Raspberry is so strong in the taste that I can’t really detect anything else. Very tart. Nice level of carbonation, good mouthfeel. Mmm...
