Sweet tasting- raspberry. It goes well with the hops and wheat. I gave some to my Miller Lite swill-drinking hillbilly neighbor and He even liked it. Aroma is somewhat tart, with aroma of real raspberries and wood. Flavor of fresh raspberries, brown sugar, and slight lactic acid. Finish is fairly tart, and a little astringent. Aroma is tart raspberry possibly with some other sweet fruits. Flavor is ultra-sweet raspberry upfront and finishes very tart. The sourness lasts quite a bit after swallowing. This is one amazing fruit beer. I bought a couple bottles to share at a wedding this past weekend, and got rave reviews from both beer drinkers and non. Pours a bubbling raspberry red with a big but disappearing raspberry stained head. Raspberry donut filling, fresh raspberry, slight vinegar, oak notes, very sweet with a big tartness on top. Great beer in small doses.
