Commercial Description:
The voluminous raspberry bouquet will greet you long before your lips touch your glass. Serve this Wisconsin framboise very cold in a champagne flute. Then hold your glass to a light and enjoy the jewel-like sparkle of a very special ale. Oregon proudly shares their harvest of mouth-watering berries, which we ferment spontaneously in large oak vats. Then we employ Wisconsin farmed wheat and year old Hallertau hops to round out this extravaganza of flavor.

Bottle (750ml). Shared with blankboy and Dave B, my bottle via trade with UghSmash. Oh, gawd this looks AWESOME - poured thick slightly pinkish-red, small head, wow - you could add pectin and boil this into jam. Aroma - raspberry, very tart, a little briney even, massive fruit flavour, hint of light cider. Taste is alternating sweet and puckeringly sour fresh raspberry, a hint of alcohol and some saltiness again - terrific. Thick body, fruit-acidity and lively mouthfeel ... dang this is good - I could drink a whole one myself (my wife loved it too) - big props to UghSmash for this - can I trade for a few more??????

Good god what a beer. Holy shit. Nice cloudy reddish pour with a puffy white head that disappears quickly. Aroma is sweet/tart of raspberries. Flavor is just unreal. The blanace between sweet and sour is remarkable. Tastes like homeade rasp preserves with a nice squeeze of lemon juice. Wow, I need more. The wife LOVED it.

Bottle. Gorgeous earthy red pour. Aroma of fresh, fresh raspberries, pie crust. Flavor of fresh, natural, tart raspberry jam, lots of raspberry seed, just oozing with raspberry that you can almost chew on. I need more bottles of this pronto. Magical.

Bottle courtesy of iowaherkeye (thanks Joey!). Pours a murky dark red with a small pink head. Aroma is wow! Quite powerful. Lots of raspberry, also raspberry pie and butteriness. Flavor is very similar, lots of raspberry, fairly tart, raspberry seed, maybe some plum. Very similar to Lindemann’s Framboise but it’s better and more complex. Such a tasty beer!

WOW!!! Very suprised by this one. Pours a very cloudy brick red. Aroma hits the nose with glass still five feet away. Sweetness hits up front, but Hallertau bitterness finds its way through all the flavor and give some structure to what could have easily been an out of balance beer. I think I may have liked this more than the Belgian Red from NG.

Bottle courtesy of Cartdan. Pours cloudy ruby almost red with a pink head. Aroma is filled with rapsberries. Taste of raspberries all over, light notes of tart fruits, but the beer remains very sweet. Sips leave a tingly feeling on palate and tongue, typical of that kind of fruits.
