Commercial Description:
The voluminous raspberry bouquet will greet you long before your lips touch your glass. Serve this Wisconsin framboise very cold in a champagne flute. Then hold your glass to a light and enjoy the jewel-like sparkle of a very special ale. Oregon proudly shares their harvest of mouth-watering berries, which we ferment spontaneously in large oak vats. Then we employ Wisconsin farmed wheat and year old Hallertau hops to round out this extravaganza of flavor.

Deep and dark marron color with a pink colored head. Smell is wonderful. Raspberries in strength and sweet like dessert. Taste is sweet raspberries. Dessert in a liquid form. Almost anyone would like this beer. Easily drinkable.

Thanks to Inkubus27 for the bottle! Muddy red pour and fluffy red head. Minimal spotty lace. Fresh raspberry on the nose. Very similar flavor profile. Tart up front, oak & fruity finish.

From bottle : Been waiting awhile to drink this one. Pours a red hazy color with a reddish tinted foamy head. The big fruity nose is in your face as soon as it goes into the glass. The smell is of wonderfully fresh raspberries. Taste is much the same, mainly all raspberries, and it really isnt tart like the name would indicate. Very nice aftertaste of raspberries. Overall a very enjoyable brew, smell, look and taste, great stuff.

Wow. This stuff is stunning. Gorgeous, dark reddish-purple colour with a hint of brown. Rather murky, as though someone had just pureed some raspberries and poured them in. Aroma of fresh rasperries. Taste? Go figure -- raspberries. Like drinking a raspberry cordial, without the cloying sweetness. Tart? Not so much, though there’s a hint of acidity on the finish. But a beautiful beer to look at, to smell, and to savour.

Very nice dark red pour with pink head. Aroma is full of tart raspberries. Flavor is a perfect balance of sweet and tart, with a nice range of notes from other fruits. Slick, slightly sticky mouthfeel. Passed it around the family and everyone loved it. Another wonderful beer from New Glarus.

Appearance is a cloudy and dense raspberry red hue, moderate amount of rose colored head dissipates to a ring, very little lacing left on the glass. Aroma is sweet and tart raspberries along with a range of other berries and sweet fruits, definitely reminiscent of thick fruit jams or purees. Taste is unsurprisingly full of big sweet raspberries with any accompanying sugar tartness, tones of strawberries, fruit sorbet, and yeast peek through very slightly, this is just hands down an amazingly crafted fruit beer. Medium-bodied, texture is slick and smooth, carbonation is prickly and lively. Very high on the sweet and tart factor that is hard to handle in large quantities, best enjoyed with friends in smaller sipping glasses or after dinner.
