Commercial Description:
This dark ale is a hearty and satisfying reward for those of us who embrace the frozen tundra. Uncut oatmeal fresh from Chilton, Wisconsin gives this Stout a "sink into it" smoothness that slides you into its depth. Handcrafted English Chocolate malt and Wisconsin Victory malt combine to balance this robust ale. Expect this ale to pour a luxurious rich head over a rich black ruby body. The powerful malt bouquet will greet you as you tip this silky smoothness from your glass. Our Oatmeal Stout is handcrafted in the time-honored traditions. Serve just above room temperature and relax -- road construction season will soon return.

Very dark crimson pour with no head to speak of. Mmm, nice aroma of toffee, deep roasted malts and some dough. Toasted caramel permeates the flavor with some velvety sweetness, licorice and cocoa. Farily thick. Not a bad stout at all. Thanks Rob!

Opaque body, a very dark brown with tan hues. Thin beige head leaves behind thin lacing that looks regulated by another source. Aroma is mostly roasted malts and copious sweet coffee. Lesser notes of cream, cane sugar, bittersweet chocolate and nice floral hops. Nice nose, very sweet. In the flavor, the chocolate now seems much more bitter than sweet. An awkward semblance of moderate balance teeters before a generous helping of sweetness and light bitterness. Medium bodied, excellently balanced in the mouthfeel. Smooth, good taste but nothing exciting. Moderate carbonation seems fizzy in the brief and roasty sweet finish.

Pours a very dark brown with a very light brown head. Smells pretty roasty, a little chocolate, and some mild sweet dark fruit as well. Fairly mild tasting, a little light bodoed, some chocolate and vanilla characters. Lightly sweet, but not too much. Tastes more like a regular stout. Pretty smooth. Pretty good.

Bottle shared vy bgburdman. Blakc pour with a light tan head. Coffee, chocolate and some smokey roasted malts make up the aroma. Flavors of roasted malt a bit of ashy smoke, chocolate and coffee. Medium body with a roasty-dry-lactic finish.

Courtesy of robertsreality. Pours dark brown with a thin ring of tan bubbles. Smells of roasted malt, coffee, and dark chocolate. Tastes of coffee, some raisins, hints of chocolate. Not a whole lot going on here, but the mouthfeel is full.

Pours almost pitch black with a small tan head. Aroma was of a lot of roastiness and chocolate. Taste was a light sweetness with some chocolate. It seems like there may be some bakers chocolate that leads to a little bitterness.

12 oz bottle via trade with, not so sure anymore. whoever you are thank you. Pours black with a tiny thin light brown head. Aroma is strange, strong coffee and a little malt. The taste is quite bitter and very very carbonated, this is an odd sweet stout, strange indeed. intersting.
