Commercial Description:
This authentic amber Irish ale is slow brewed with a blend of three malted barleys and finished with four varieties of hops. Then we dry-hopped in the lager tank to add a spicy note to warm your winter evenings. Expect this beer to be a beautiful copper-red, with a fruity ale body and a spiced hop finish.

Clear ruby, thin off-white frothy head. Sweet malt, slightly hoppy aroma. Malt gets more of a ever-so-slightly roasted feel in the flavor... and some spicey hops. Lingering fruity and light roasted coffee-like finish. Good beer.

An amber golden beer with a disappearing light brown head. Sweet malt aroma with some citrus fruit. Mild pilsner malty flavor with fruity and nutty notes. Rather sharp and not very interesting.

Red amber in appearance. Smells strongly of caramel malts and sweet maple / honey syrup. Great malt backbone and honey characteristics. Some hints of vanilla and subtle spicing (cinnamon?) contribute to the sweet complexity of this winter ale. Solid stuff. Thanks to JCapriotti for this one!

brown amber color w/ a thin quickly dissapating white head. Light aroma a hint malty and a touch sweet to smell. The palate was smooth, creamy and carbonated. The flavor was lightly carmel sweet malt and fruit.. overall pretty dang good, I wish they were keeping it around.

great deep copper color, no lace, a hint of dryness that makes it very drinkable; raisins, malty, aromatic, mouth-filling. Great beer

Bottled. Amber, clear. Roasty and buttery. Malty and salty with clean mouthfeel. Rich in flavour for an American amber ale. Salty bitterish finish.

A clear red beer with a small disappearing brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of caramel and cinnamon. The flavor is roasted like roasted bread, but also has notes of caramel and hints of alcohol before a dry hoppy end sets in.

Amber color. Some caramel aroma, very light. Just caramel in the taste, some sweetness; ways too simple, a poor Brown Ale.
