Commercial Description:
This authentic amber Irish ale is slow brewed with a blend of three malted barleys and finished with four varieties of hops. Then we dry-hopped in the lager tank to add a spicy note to warm your winter evenings. Expect this beer to be a beautiful copper-red, with a fruity ale body and a spiced hop finish.

A clear red beer with a small disappearing brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of caramel and cinnamon. The flavor is roasted like roasted bread, but also has notes of caramel and hints of alcohol before a dry hoppy end sets in.

Bottled. Amber, clear. Roasty and buttery. Malty and salty with clean mouthfeel. Rich in flavour for an American amber ale. Salty bitterish finish.

Irish? This is a straight-ahead american-style amber with a fair dosage of crystal malts and earthy hops. Nothing special about it, but you could do worse.

Amber color. Some caramel aroma, very light. Just caramel in the taste, some sweetness; ways too simple, a poor Brown Ale.

A Mes rate. Bottle at home.
Dark amber with a very thin white head. Very boring, slightly spicy nutty amber ale. Faint cardboard, some bitterness in the finish. Very little to get excited about.

12oz bottle acquired in trade with CaptainCougar (thanks!). Poured a medium amber color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of toasted caramel, nuts, yeast, and spicy. Tastes of caramel, lightly fruity, and nutty. Tastes and body on the thinner side. Lots of lacing left on the glass.

Sweet toasty nut aroma, with caramel malt presence. Copper red color with a pleasant head. Smooth body with good malt backbone and hop balance. Subtle hop finish is permeated by crisp roasted malt. A very-well done ale that hits the spot.
